About Joanna
Joanna Schroeder brings nearly 30 years of creative experience to her role as Senior Copywriter, along with the instincts of an investigative journalist and a healthy suspicion of boring copy. She’s always looking for the real story: what matters, who’s involved, what changed, and why anyone should care. Her career has taken her through journalism, public relations, advertising, content marketing, and nine years teaching at her alma mater, Iowa State University, giving her a rare ability to dig into complicated ideas and turn them into stories people actually want to read.
Originally from the Iowa side of the Quad Cities, Joanna is endlessly interested in how people and ideas fit together. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her reading, listening to music, hunting for a great thrift-store find, or heading out on an adventure with her dog, Mr. Edison. She brings both brains and personality to the page, and we’re very glad she’s doing it here.
