Case study

Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons

The site DMOS was working from had major functionality and design issues due to its age. The time had come to refresh the layout and navigation so that patients could find what they needed quickly – especially on mobile devices.

The Pre-Work

With so many service offerings and surgery centers, organizing and optimizing a website for DMOS required more than just some notes jotted on the back of a napkin.

We started by taking inventory of their current site and reformatting and rewriting the content in a consistent voice, consolidating and deleting information as needed. When this foundation was complete, we started building.

The Build

DMOS is all about putting the patient first. We built the layout and navigation of their website with their audience in mind, following user experience (UX) best practices.

Clear call to action buttons, interactive forms, and a mobile-optimized format were used throughout the site, all while maintaining a clean and consistent brand image on each and every page.

The Result

The new site proved to be an immediate boost. Search engine and site analytics were markedly improved.

As time goes on, patient experience metrics are also likely to see positive growth as patients are able to more easily find what they need, pay their bills, and schedule appointments.
